“The surest way to give life meaning is to be of consequence to the lives of others.”

From early childhood, the value system that I was inculcated in, emphasized the fact that our existence is validated and made worthwhile through the impact we have on others around us. Being aligned with the greatest good of all, I feel, is central to truly ethical living.

In keeping with these motivations, I have tried to give back to the society that has contributed to making me who I am today. I am a proud Indian and will always be indebted to the culture that I was born and raised in. I am also deeply appreciative of the wonderful generosity I have experienced in UAE and the Middle East in general. I find it extremely gratifying to give to the less fortunate, vulnerable or simply deserving of a helping hand, especially in both these locations.

Some of the initiatives the Gemini Group has had the opportunity to be involved in include food programs for the underprivileged, sponsoring and supporting children’s education, providing healthcare for the needy.

To deepen this engagement I am currently structuring an annual CSR strategy – across all our companies – that rolls out impactful funding to deserving projects across India and the Middle East. Areas we are planning to engage include welfare projects in orphanages, robust food programs, a welfare fund, educational projects for our workers and a scholarship program for deserving individuals with special needs – among others.
